RYT 200/RYT 500
As a mother of four kids, Janet, has committed herself to becoming a lifelong learner of the human body and how to bring restoration and ease into everyday living. She received her B.S. in accounting from Northern Arizona University, but it wasn’t until after her youngest child was in high school that she began her journey into yoga.
Yoga has taught Janet that every individual has various potential and capacities within their own yoga practice and life. She looks forward to sharing her personal experiences and knowledge with her students. Janet specializes in yoga for beginners, restorative, and special populations. Janet completed her 200-hour certification program with Master Trainer Alexandria Crow of YogaWorks, followed by the Devandi 340-hour certification program, and she is also certified in Chair Yoga and Restorative Yoga. She is a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner and volunteers with patients at St. Joseph’s Hospital in St. Paul, Mn.
Healing Touch is a relaxing nurturing energy therapy that uses gentle touch to assist in balancing the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and well-being of an individual. These trainings and hands on experiences have inspired Janet to become the yoga teacher she is today.
