Inquiring about yoga is a great first step towards better health. We are so glad you decided to begin your health journey with us. We offer a variety of ways to get started from our Free Beginner class to our 3 week Beginner Yoga Series. All of our beginner classes are taught by RYT 500, YACEP certified instructors and are held at both our studio locations. We look forward to working with you.

 

What is Yoga

Yoga is a healing system of theory and practice. It is a combination of breathing exercises, physical postures, and meditation that has been practiced for more than 5,000 years. Yoga is among the oldest known systems of health practiced in the world today. Some of the many benefits of yoga are:

  • Improves strength, balance and circulation.
  • Increases flexibility, energy and concentration.
  • Heightens awareness of posture and breathing.
  • Compliments sports training.
  • Relieves joint stress and pain.
  • Reduces stress and relieves tension.

In short yoga makes you feel better. Practicing the postures, breathing exercises and meditation makes you healthier in body, mind, and spirit.

  • Yoga mat (yoga mats are available for rent or purchase at the studio)

 

How to get started

Option 1 - FREE Beginner Class

This is a one hour class that introduces students to our studio, some fundamental postures and the teacher helps each student determine public classes to attend or recommends the Beginner Workshop Series.

 

Option 2 - Beginner Workshop Series - $59

The Beginner Yoga series is for those wanting an effective and tailored start to yoga. Specifically designed for beginners, this series provides a safe environment where everyone is new to yoga. Over the course of this series you are taken through the foundational postures one at a time, receiving alignment cues and immediate feedback to help you. Breathe work and relaxation is also covered. Your questions during class are encouraged and serve to help you and others gain a deeper understanding. Yoga mats and props are provided. 

Students that complete the Beginner Yoga Series receive $100 off their First Month of Unlimited Yoga!

 

Option 3 - Beginner Yoga Private Lesson Package - $189

This package includes a 75 minute private yoga lesson and your first month of unlimited Yoga. Your teacher will help with any modifications or questions specific to your practice and also make recommendations of classes for you to attend for your first month of Yoga. Contact us to get your beginner private lesson scheduled! 

 

Option 4 - one week Unlimited for new students - $20

Ready to try our studio and experience a variety of classes? Gentle Yoga, Candlelight Yoga, LifeCore 1 and All Levels Classes are great options for beginner students.
